People: Sonae Industria Sgps SA (SNIDY.PK)

Mr. Joao Paulo dos Santos Pinto has served as Chief Operating Officer for Southern Europe, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Sonae Industria Sgps SA since February 15, 2013. Prior to this, he was Co-Chief Executive Officer, Executive Member of the Board of Directors, Chief Industrial and Technology Officer of the Company since July 28, 2011. He has been its Chief Industrial and Technology Officer and Executive Director since 2010. He is also Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Company. He has worked for Sonae/Efanor since 1995, where he has occupied several positions in marketing and sales, and in 2009 assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer of the Company for the Iberian Peninsula. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade do Porto, a Masters degree in Internal Combustion Engines from Ecole Nationale du Petrole et des Moteurs, and an MBA degree from Universidade do Porto.
