Mr. Dan Fields has served Head of Global Markets, Corporate & Investment Banking and Member of the Group Management Committee since January 3, 2012. Prior to that he served as Deputy Head of Global Markets, Corporate & Investment Banking and Member of the Group Management Committee of the Company from February, 2011. He was appointed Global Head of Trading in 2009 and joined the Group Management Committee of Societe Generale in January 2011. Mr. Fields first joined Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1994 as an Equity Derivatives trader in Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Bank's New York office. In 1999, he moved to Sydney, Australia to set up the Equity Derivatives business. He returned to New York in 2002 to set up the Hedge Fund Group for SG Americas Securities, a registered broker-dealer and subsidiary of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Bank. He moved to Paris in June 2006 to head the flow and listed product sales group. Mr. Fields holds a Bachelors degree in Philosophy from Columbia University in New York City.
