Dr. Vida is Director of Spectrum Pharmaceuticals Inc since April 2003. Since 1993, Dr. Vida has been a self-employed pharmaceutical consultant with VIDA International Pharmaceutical Consultants. From 1975 until his retirement in 1993, Dr. Vida held various positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb and its predecessors. From 1991 to 1993, Dr. Vida was Vice President, Business Development, Licensing and Strategic Planning, and from 1985 to 1991, he was Vice President, Licensing. Dr. Vida serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Medarex, Inc., a NASDAQ listed company focused on the discovery and development of human antibody-based therapeutic products and FibroGen, Inc., a private pharmaceutical company. Dr. Vida graduated from Pazmany Peter University, Budapest, Hungary, holds an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Carnegie Institute of Technology, was a R.B. Woodward Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University, and holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
