Mr. R.E. Gordon Davis is Director of Silver Standard Resources Inc. Mr. Davis was a director and senior executive with Dynasty Explorations Ltd. and its successor corporation, Cyprus Anvil Mining Corporation, from 1964 to 1982. Since 1982, Mr. Davis has been a director of a number of resource companies, including Pine Point Mines Ltd., Cabre Exploration Ltd., Golden Knight Resources Inc. and Northern Crown Mines Ltd. In addition, Mr. Davis has been a director of Canplats Resources Corporation (“Canplats”) since October 1999, the President of Canplats from March 2000 to December 2007 and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Canplats since December 2007. Mr. Davis also serves as a director of Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. Mr. Davis graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Geological Engineering in 1962 and is a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
