Mr. Robert S. Roath, CPA, is Independent Chairman of the Board of Standard Parking Corp. Mr. Roath has served as a director since June 2004, the chair of compensation committee since April 2010. He has been chairman of the advisory board to L.E.K. Consulting, a shareholder-value consulting firm, since May 1997. Mr. Roath retired as chief financial officer of RJR Nabisco, Inc. in April 1997 where he worked from September 1990. He has been a director of the InterDigital, Inc. since May 1997 and is chairman of the finance committee and a member of the executive committee. Mr. Roath is also a member of the advisory board of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. Previously, Mr. Roath was employed by Colgate-Palmolive, General Foods, GAF Corporation and Price Waterhouse & Co. He received his B.S. degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Maryland in 1966 and completed the Amos Tuck Executive Development program in 1980.
