Previously, he had been an officer with JeffBanks and Jefferson Bank since 1989, and was their Executive Vice President-Retail Lending from 1995 to March 2000. He also served as a director of Jefferson Mortgage, Inc., a mortgage lending subsidiary of JeffBanks
