Bruce C. Cozadd has served as a member of the Board of Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc since December 2005. He has been the Executive Chairman of Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since its inception in 2003. Prior to co-founding Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Cozadd served in various executive management positions with ALZA Corporation from 1991 until its acquisition by Johnson & Johnson in 2001. At the time of the merger, Mr. Cozadd was serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ALZA, with responsibility for research and development, manufacturing, and sales and marketing. Prior to joining ALZA, he was in the Corporate Finance Health Care group at Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. Inc. He serves on the board of directors of Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Cerus Corp., The Nueva School and Stanford Hospital and Clinics. He received his B.S. from Yale University and his M.B.A. from Stanford University.
