Mr. Rajesh Ranjan Jha is Deputy Vice President - Engineering, Kalinga Nagar Project Odisha of Tata Steel Ltd. He joined Tata Steel as a Graduate Trainee in 1990 after completing B.E. (Mechanical). Subsequently, he did his MBA in Finance and Marketing. After completion of his training in Tata Steel, he joined Engineering and Project Division with responsibilities of Utilities, Pollution Control system, Material Handling System etc. for Power Projects. He was sent on deputation to Stewarts and Lloyds of India Ltd., (A subsidiary of Tata Steel) in 1997. Growing within the organization, he became President of S&L and served there till 2005. Stewarts & Lloyds of India Ltd. is a Multi-Discipline Construction Co. undertaking projects from Oil & Gas, Power and Metal & Minerals Industry. In January 2006 Mr. Rajesh joined Tata Projects Ltd. as Business Head (Metal & Minerals) and Executive-in-Charge (Eastern Region). During the period, he tied up with various European technology suppliers and bagged various orders including Turnkey project for 4060 m3 Blast Furnace, Hot Metal, De-Sulphurization Station, Erection of By-product Plant, Coke Ovens etc. In August 2008, Mr. Rajesh was transferred back to Tata Steel as Executive-in-Charge, Growth Shop. During the last 4 years, in addition to growing in its own area of competency, TGS has also extended its capabilities in Structural Fabrication and Turnkey Projects execution. In October 2012 he has been placed as Deputy Vice president Engineering of Kalinga Nagar Project Odisha. He is responsible for implementing the Kalinganagar project in its full scope in scheduled time and cost.
