Mr. Peter Evensen is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Teekay Corp. He joined Teekay in 2003 as Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2004 and was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer in 2006. Effective April 1, 2011, he became a Teekay director and Teekay’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Evensen serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer and a director of each of Teekay GP L.L.C. and Teekay Offshore GP L.L.C., and as a director of Teekay Tankers. Mr. Evensen has 20 years of experience in banking and shipping finance. Prior to joining Teekay, Mr. Evensen was Managing Director and Head of Global Shipping at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and worked in other senior positions for its predecessor firms. His international industry experience includes positions in New York, London and Oslo.
