Mr. Tayfun Cataltepe is performing as Vice General Manager of Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri A.S. responsible for Corporate Strategy and Regulations. He joined the Company on November 5, 2007, as Vice General Manager of the Corporate Strategy and International Expansion, and served in this post until his current appointment. Prior to joining the Company, he was in charge of corporate integration services in Post-Merger and Acquisition Period Department of Ernst & Young in the European telecom sector. Mr. Cataltepe worked as Research and Development Engineer in the Bell Laboratories between 1990 and 1998. In 1998, he was appointed as IP Network and Service Planning Projects Manager of AT&T, where he worked until 2003. He then worked as Deputy General Manager in charge of technical operations of Aycell, and was promoted to Deputy General Manager responsible for AVEA Network Operations in 2004, a position he held until 2006. Mr. Cataltepe received a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Bogazici Universitesi, an MBA degree from Michigan Technological University and a Ph.D. degree from University of California.
