Brief Biography

Dr. H. Lynn Massingale, M.D., is an Executive Chairman of the Board of Team Health Holdings, Inc. He has been a member of the board since November 2005 and was named Executive Chairman in May 2008. Prior to that, Dr. Massingale had been the Chief Executive Officer and director of the Company since 1994 and also held the title of President until October 2004. Dr. Massingale previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Southeastern Emergency Physicians, a provider of emergency physician services to hospitals in the Southeast and the predecessor of TeamHealth, Inc., which Dr. Massingale co-founded in 1979. Dr. Massingale served as the director of Emergency Services for the state of Tennessee from 1989 to 1993. Dr. Massingale is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Medical Center for Health Services.
