Mr. Charles E. Adair is Lead Independent Director of Torchmark Corp. He has been Director of the Company since April 25, 2003. He is also a director of Tech Data Corporation and PSS World Medical, Inc. He formerly served as a director of Performance Food Group, Inc. (1993-2008). Principal Occupation: Partner, Cordova Ventures, Montgomery, Alabama, a venture capital management company since December 1993. Mr. Adair brings to the Board more than 20 years of experience as the former President and Chief Operating Officer of a NASDAQ-listed pharmaceutical and medical supplies distributor.
