Schunk, Albert
Brief Biography
Dr. Albert Schunk is Independent Non-Executive Director of TUI Travel PLC., since October 29, 2007. Albert studied economics at university and carried out a research project for the German Government in Latin America. After joining IG-Metall, he has served on the supervisory board of Volkswagen and other German Companies since 1976. In 1994 he became a member of the European Economic and Social Council in Brussels and has recently been advising the Riu Group in Spain.
