Mr. Brian Canfield is the Chairman of the Board, Independent Director of TELUS Corporation. His career with TELUS spans more than 50 years, including almost a year as interim Chief Executive Officer of TELUS, four years as Chair and Chief Executive Officer of BC TELECOM Inc., three years as President and Chief Executive Officer and one year as President and Chief Operating Officer. In 1997, Brian was named an Honorary Doctor of Technology by the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
