Mr. Ron Slaymaker is Vice President of Texas Instruments Inc. He is responsible for communications with the investor community regarding TI's performance and strategies. He joined TI's semiconductor group in 1982 in Chicago as a design engineer and worked in field applications and sales management before moving to Dallas in 1991 in a strategic marketing role. In 1993, he helped the company start a business to address opportunities in the emerging digital audio/video market. After managing the business for five years, Slaymaker moved into investor relations in 1998. He is a member of National Investor Relations Institute and the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering Advisory Board. Slaymaker received a bachelor of electrical engineering degree from Georgia Tech and a master's of business administration degree from the University of Chicago.
