Ms. Carol B. Tome is Independent Director of United Parcel Service Inc. Carol has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Home Depot, Inc., since May 2001. In January 2007 Carol assumed the additional role of Executive Vice President — Corporate Services. Prior to that, she had been Senior Vice President — Finance and Accounting/Treasurer since February 2000. From 1995 until 2000, she served as Vice President and Treasurer. A native of Jackson, Wyoming, Carol holds a B.S. in Communication from the University of Wyoming and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Denver. She is an active volunteer, including serving as a member of The Committee of 200 and a member of the Atlanta Botanical Garden board. In January 2008, Carol joined the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and serves as deputy chair of the board. She also serves on the board of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
