Mr. Dennis Slagle has been appointed Executive Vice President Group Trucks Sales & Marketing Americas and Member of the Group Executive Team at Volvo AB, effective as of January 1, 2012. He has served as Member of the Group Executive Team of the Company since April 1, 2008. Previously, he has been President and Chief Executive Officer of North American Trucks since November 1, 2009. He also held the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer of Volvo Construction Equipment North America (2003-2008), President and Chief Executive Officer of Mack Trucks, Inc. between April 1, 2008 and November 1, 2009, and President of L.B. Smith, Inc. He joined Volvo in 2000. Mr. Slagle serves as Member of the Board of Directors of West Virginia Wesleyan College Board of Trustees. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree.
