People: Westlake Chemical Corporation (WLK)

Mr. David R. Hansen is Senior Vice President - Administration of Westlake Chemical Corporation since September 1999 and served as Vice President, Human Resources from 1993 to 1999. From August 2003 until July 2004 he was also Secretary. Prior to joining the company in 1990, Mr. Hansen served as Director of Human Resources & Administration for Agrico Chemical Company and held various human resources and administrative management positions within the Williams Companies. He has 30 years of administrative management experience in the oil, gas, energy, chemicals, pipeline, plastics and computer industries. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science from the University of Utah and has completed extensive graduate work toward an M.S. in Human Resources Management.
