Mr. Mark R. Williams is Senior Vice President - Exploration and Development of Whiting Petroleum Corp., since January 1, 2011. He joined the company in December 1983 as Exploration Geologist and has been Vice President of Exploration and Development since December 1999. Mr. Williams was elected Senior Vice President, Exploration and Development effective January 1, 2011. He has 32 years of domestic and international experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Williams holds a Master’s degree in geology from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Utah.
