Brief Biography
Mr. Rick A. Ross is Vice President - Operations of Whiting Petroleum Corp., since May 2007. He joined the company in March 1999 as an Operations Manager. In May 2007, he became Vice President of Operations. Mr. Ross has 30 years of oil and gas experience, including 17 years with Amoco Production Company where he served in various technical and managerial positions. Mr. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. He is a registered Professional Engineer and was a past Chairman of the North Dakota Petroleum Council.
