［東京 ３０日 ロイター］ 米クライスラーは破産申請を回避できるのか──。伊フィアットとの提携交渉が期限の３０日を迎え、日本の自動車業界は緊張を強めている。仮に破産決定となれば、５月末に再建協議の期限が迫るゼネラル・モーターズ（ＧＭ）への懸念と相まって、底打ちの兆しが見えかけてきた新車販売に冷や水を浴びせかねない。ただ、破産後にフィアットがクライスラー事業を引き受けることになれば、内外に波及するダメージは緩和されるとの見方も浮上している。それでも部品調達できずに日本勢の北米現地生産が停止したり、クライスラーと取り引きのある日本の部品メーカーが売掛金を回収できなくなるリスクも大きく、５月以降の展開は読み切れない。

TOKYO, March 21 (Reuters) - Japanese stocks may edge down on Friday, but the market is expected to move in a narrow range ahead of the weekend and Good Friday holidays in other countries, with no repeat of the big swings seen earlier in the week.
