JOHANNESBURG, Oct 8 (Reuters) - South Africa's rand firmed against a wobbly dollar on Thursday while stocks rose for a 4th straight day on a positive global economic outlook and stronger resource shares. The Johannesburg Top-40 index rose 0.94 percent to 22,886.98 points, while the broader All-Share index gained 0.91 percent to 25,528.40 points.
