(The following statement was released by the rating agency) CHICAGO, January 29 (Fitch) Fitch Ratings has assigned an 'A-' rating to AT&T Inc.'s (AT&T; NYSE: T) offering of senior unsecured notes. Proceeds from the notes are expected to be used to refinance debt maturing in 2016 as well as for general corporate purposes.
