Growing confidence in the future and slightly warmer views of President Bush and Congress put Americans in a better mood this month according to a Reuters/Zogby poll. Full Article

Said the U.S. is headed in the right direction
Rated the performance of U.S. foreign policy excellent or good
Rated the performance of U.S. economic policy excellent or good
Rated their personal financial situation excellent or good
Said they were very or fairly proud of the U.S.
Felt very or fairly safe when thinking about threats to America from abroad
Felt very or fairly secure in their current job
Very or fairly confident their children will have a better life than they do
Telephone survey of likely voters nationwide was conducted Feb. 13 through Feb. 16 and included 1105 interviews. The margin of error is +/- 3.0 percentage points. Numbers may not add up to 100% due to rounding.
