Nov. 30 - It has been a banner year for the U.S. aerospace and defense industry but there are concerns about a slowing economy and high oil prices.
For military aircraft makers the war in Iraq has been a boom for business. Spending by the U.S. government is at an all time high. Commercial airlines are also doing well. Since September 11th they have tried to emerge as leaner entities.
