May 19 - The high-end UK speaker company Bowers and Wilkins is launching an online community for audiophiles with the help of Real World Studios.
The B&W Music Club will offer exclusive monthy albums recorded during special sessions at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios in a 'lossless' file format to its members.
As Reuters Technology Correspondent Matt Cowan reports, the move is part of a campaign to get music fans to become more aware of sound quality in the digital age of compression and convenience.
