Whaling Commission under threat
Jun. 21 - The International Whaling Commission meeting in Chile next week could decide the future of the deeply-divided organisation.
IWC conferences are typically emotionally-charged but its first meeting in South America in over two decades is likely to mark a watershed with deep and widening divisions among pro- and anti-whaling nations.
