Obama and McCain trade jokes

(02:30) Report

Oct. 17 - U.S. presidential rival candidates, Barack Obama and John McCain traded wisecracks instead of campaign attacks at a New York dinner.

The evening of humour followed one night after the sharp exchanges in their final debate before the November 4 election.

Helen Long reports.
