Japan eyes new bad loan plan

Dec 30 - Japan's government and central bank are eyeing a $110 billion bad loan buying-scheme, the Sankei Shimbun said Tuesday.

Using public funds, the plan would be aimed at keeping Japan from sliding further into recession by easing a corporate credit crunch.
