Jan 8 - Japan's top mobile phone operator, NTT DoCoMo, wants to dial up more overseas business, while still seeing a tough market at home.
DoCoMo offered $2.7 billion for a quarter stake in India's Tata Teleservices, giving it a potential foothold in the world's fastest growing market, while CEO Ryuji Yamada says competition with domestic rivals KDDI and Softbank has many fronts.
