New 35 dollar water purifier
Jan 8 - Swedish company Solvatten launches an affordable and user friendly Solar Powered Water Purification system for developing countries.
The Solvatten system is expected to retail at about 35 dollars (USD) per unit and comes in a compact case, using solar energy to purify contaminated water.
With user friendly instructions Solvatten is currently being piloted in Nepal through the UN and Environment and Public Health Organization.
