Jan 9 - Artists brave China's coldest city to compete in an international ice sculpting competition.
With saws, chisels and warm clothing to fend off sub-zero temperatures, dozens of international sculptors toiled over their works of art at a three-day international contest in the Chinese city Harbin.
Ice sculptors from more than 10 countries braved minus 27 degree celsius temperatures, to put finishing touches to their sculptures.
