Jan 12 - Seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong arrives in Australia for his comeback to professional cycling, dismissing the idea of a fairytale early victory.
The U.S. cyclist is competing in the early season 'Tour Down Under' as part of the Astana team.
The announcement of his return to professional road racing after a gap of three years provoked surprise and huge interest among cycling fans.
Armstrong, who survived testicular cancer early in his career, says the move was motivated by his desire to promote cancer awareness of which he is a dedicated advocate.
He says he'll take part in the major European races, including the Tour de France.
