Sep. 25 - A photograph of an emaciated naked woman appeared on a billboard in Milan.
The shocking image is part of an ad campaign for fashion group Flash & Partner's clothing brand Nolita. The photograph of the 23 year old French woman appears in Italian newspapers and billboards in Milan. It's the latest work by controversial Italian photographer Oliviero Toscani.
The campaign has received the backing from the Ministry of Health although a spokesperson from Italy's Association for the Study of Anorexia said the woman should be in hospital.
