Elephants rampage in eastern India

(00:57) Rough Cut

Nov 22 - A herd of elephants goes on a rampage, destroying a tea garden in Doars region of India's eastern West Bengal state.

When tea leaf pluckers arrived at work, they found the big herd of the jumbos plundering the whole garden.

Massive deforestation, poaching and people encroaching upon forest corridors have forced elephants to move out of their natural habitats in search of food and water.
