Jun 2 - The French climber known as "Spiderman" scales a 41-story Sydney tower to draw attention to climate change.

Hundreds of people gathered in Sydney to watch Alain Robert climb to the top of a Renzo Piano-designed office building in less than 30 minutes, without a harness or ropes.

The stunt included unfurling a banner advertising the environmental group One Hundred Months.

The crowd cheered him on but the police were not so enthusiastic.

"Spiderman" Alain Robert was promptly arrested following the stunt and remains in custody with charges expected to be laid.
