Kinder Morgan shopping for assets
Jun. 2 - Kinder Morgan Energy Partners says it expects to make some acquisitions before the end of 2009 as distressed companies are forced to go up for sale.
CEO Rich Kinder, speaking at the 2009 Reuters Global Energy Summit in Houston, says that although there are opportunities to make acquisitions there is "still somewhat of a disconnect between sellers and buyers on valuation."
