Jun. 17 - Portales Partners says the Federal Reserve is unlikely to raise interest rates for at least the rest of 2009.
Managing Director Dino Kos, a former executive vice president and head of the markets group at the New York Fed, says "The Fed is trying to deal with how to support the domestic economy during this time of crisis." and that U.S. economic growth would be tepid when the nation emerges from recession, with gross domestic product growth of 1 percent to 2 percent likely in 2010.
