Corbis unveils photos to blogs app.
Nov. 27 - Corbis, the stock photography house, will allow users to download images for their blogs from its website free of charge.
The catch: each photo that is downloaded will also come with an embedded banner advertisement beneath the photo. CEO Gary Shenk says the service, which is in beta testing right now, will allow people with blogs to add copyrighted images legally. Corbis is majority owned by billionaire Bill Gates.
