Bin Laden appeals to Europeans
Nov. 30 - A new audio recording by Osama Bin Laden calls on Europeans to stop helping the U.S. in Afghanistan.
An audio tape was aired by Al Jazeera television and distributed on the internet.
A counterterrorism official in Washington said the voice on the tape did appear to be bin Laden's.
The speaker said the United States would soon leave Afghanistan and let its neighbours, "settle their scores.''
Many European countries contribute to the 50,000-strong NATO and U.S.-led coalition forces fighting the Taliban.
