Reliance eyes overseas deals
Dec. 5 - Reliance Industries says it will look to make acquisitions abroad in the oil and gas sector and the petrochemicals sector in 2008.
Atul Chandra, the president of the diversified conglomerate's oil business, says "we will look at the companies which can utilize the core strengths which Reliance has." Chandra, speaking at the Reuters India Investment Summit in Mumbai on Wednesday, said it was time to grow internationally.
