Toshiba Cuts HD-DVD Price
Jan. 15 - Toshiba cut the price of its HD-DVD players, as more Hollywood studios opt for the rival Blu-ray format.
The move looks to boost confidence after Warner Brothers said it would exclusively support the next-generation Blu-ray DVD technology, led by rival Sony.
