Jan. 18 - Denzel Washington, George Clooney and Ben Affleck are some of the Hollywood's A-list honoured at National Board of Review of Motion Picture Awards in New York.
One of the most distinguished honours went to Denzel Washington, who won the Freedom of Expression award as director for the film "the Great Debaters" while George Clooney picked up the Best Actor award for his performance in the film "Michael Clayton". Among many the actor Michael Douglas was given the Career Achievement award while the director Tim Burton won Best Director for his work "Sweeney Todd".
All of the talk on the red carpet was not about movies and who gave the best performance but about politics and the best candidate for the U.S. president.
