Malaysian anger over high prices

(00:55) Report

Jan. 26 - Malaysian police have broken up an opposition protest against rising prices, arresting more than four dozen people.

It's the latest in a series of rallies that have intensified amid speculation of an early election. The spate of protests in this normally peaceful country comes at a delicate time for Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's government, which has seen its popularity fall ahead of snap polls expected in the coming weeks.
