Mar. 17 - Republican presidential candidate John McCain arrives in Iraq to assess the success of a U.S. troop build up.
Coming just ahead of the fifth anniversary of the US-led invasion of Iraq, analysts see the trip as a chance for McCain to show off his knowledge of foreign policy and military affairs, while Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama fight out a bitter Democratic nomination process at home. The Arizona senator will also visit Israel, Britain and France as part of a week-long trip.
Michelle Carlile-Alkhouri reports.
