May 8 - A Holocaust museum train arrives at Auschwitz station after a six month tour of Germany.
Since the train set off from Frankfurt in November 2007 it has passed through thirty German cities and attracted controversy as well as support.
Germany's state owned rail operator Deutsche Bahn, which replaced the war time operator, Reichsbahn drew heavy criticism when it would not allow the train to stop at Berlin's central station.
