Jul. 25 - Forest fires burn into their fourth day on the popular Greek tourist island, Rhodes.
The scorching temperatures and strong winds are making it difficult for firefighters to control the blaze. The popular holiday resorts on the island which attract thousands of tourists every year are in no immediate danger.

SOUNDBITE: Ioannis Maheridis, Dodecanese Islands prefect, saying (Greek):
"There must be a distribution of emergency resources on all fronts. We will do battle. I hope we can make it. But things are difficult."
