Fay makes landfall in Florida
Aug. 19 - Tropical Storm Fay moves ashore over southwest Florida, bringing heavy rains but little damage.
The hurricanes top sustained winds never went above 60 miles per hour (95 km per hour) as it passed over the Florida Keys and bore down on large stretches of south Florida.
