Tropical storm Hanna drenches U.S.
Sept. 7 - Hurricane Ike charges toward Cuba and the Gulf of Mexico while Hanna drenches America's East coast.
The United States National Hurricane Center describe Ike as an extremely dangerous category four storm, as it heads steadedly West over the Turks and Caicos islands.
Meanwhile tropical storm Hanna batters the East coast of America.
