Sep. 17 - Democrat Barack Obama has a 2-point lead in the U.S. presidential race on Republican John McCain according to the latest Reuters/Zogby poll.
Perhaps equally important though-- in the the wake of the financial meltdown on Wall Street, half of all voters said the economy was the top issue in the presidential election, and the poll showed McCain narrowly led Obama on the question of which candidate could best manage the economy.
